Who we are

All Things Dog Limited provides dog walking, training, and behaviour services, including our Outlet Walks, solo walks, training and behaviour work, and boarding. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Depending on the services you use, we may collect:

  • Emergency contact details

  • Payment and invoicing details

  • Your dog's name, breed, age, and behavioural or medical information relevant to their care

  • Vet contact details

  • Access information for your home, such as key safe codes, where relevant to our service

  • Photos or videos of your dog taken during walks or training, where you have agreed to this

  • Notes on walks, sessions, and progress

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Arrange and deliver walking, training, and behaviour services

  • Contact you about bookings, schedules, or changes

  • Take payment and send invoices

  • Keep your dog safe, including sharing relevant medical or behavioural information with a vet in an emergency

  • Send you updates, photos, or reports about your dog's walks or sessions

  • Meet our legal and insurance obligations

Who we share your information with

We may share your information with your vet in an emergency, or with payment processors to take payment for our services. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may also share your information with self-employed contractors who work with us to deliver walking, training, boarding, or behaviour services. Contractors only receive the information they need to safely and effectively care for your dog, and are required to handle it securely.

How long we keep your information

We keep client and dog records for as long as you use our services, and typically for up to 7 years afterwards to meet our legal, accounting, and insurance obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we have no legal reason to keep it, we will do so.

Any physical keys we hold for access to your home are labelled with your dog's name only, not your address or personal details.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information

  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it

  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain uses of your information

  • Withdraw consent at any time, for example for photos or videos, where consent is the basis for use

Marketing

With your consent, we may send you marketing emails about our services, offers, or updates from All Things Dog Limited. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking unsubscribe or contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing will not affect your ability to use our services.
